How do the rich get richer? Could it be real estate? Maybe stocks and bonds? How about gold? Nope….Jerry Wipes! You have to be friggin’ kidding me!
After a quick shot on the opening night game of the NFL season, a camera caught Jerry Jones’ son-in-law cleaning Jerry’s glasses for him. Jokes came out soon after, that Jerry couldn’t clean his own glasses and that his son-in-law was the official glasses cleaner for him.
After the game Shy Anderson, Jerry’s son-in-law joked about the scene saying that those wipes can be used for a spontaneous shoe shining as well. Anderson said, “…It started out as a joke, but let’s see how far we can take it.” By the way, yes, his son-in-law’s real name is Shy…I looked it up and the internet never lies.
These “Jerry Wipes” will be found on the Dallas Cowboys website along with products like the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones Blackberry 8520 Cover. The Blackberry cover can be yours for $9.98 (it’s on sale). Pictures of Jerry Jones are listed on the website for $14.99. WHAT A BARGAIN!
I honestly can’t believe these products are offered. I know they wouldn’t be if no one bought them but this is ridiculous. Why are people buying pictures of Jerry Jones? The Jerry Wipes are not on the website yet but they soon will be. If Jerry can make money on it, it will be there.
Jerry and Shy are just proving that they can even make money off of a joke. The real joke is that Jerry’s son-in-law looked more like his own personal errand boy. Even though Shy has run the Dallas Desperados, of the Arena Football League, and has other business interests, he looked more like Jerry’s lap dog than a business man during that whole scene.
Anderson said, “he started asking, ‘Where’s Witten?’ I was looking over his shoulder and I could see his glasses were completely smudged. I said, ‘Seriously, Jerry? Let me see your glasses.’ I actually had an eyeglass cloth in my pocket.” I guess the camera just caught him at the wrong time.
Either way, you know that Cowboy fans will now buy these Jerry Wipes as soon as they are available for sale. Yet another reason the owners of these teams will continue to be rich…everyone else will flock to their website to buy whatever crap they’re selling.

Heard about this on Mike & Mike. Ridiculous.
