Week 12 treated me better than other weeks in the past but I still went 2-2 ATS. I was fooled by the Lions who gave the game away with Matthew Stafford throwing four interceptions. I’m starting to second guess my change of heart on Stafford as a top 10 quarterback in the NFL. It seems like he shrinks in some of the biggest moments. We’ll see if he can turn it around on Thanksgiving in front of the home crowd. The Giants also tricked me into believing that they were getting hot at the right time. With players coming off of the injury list I thought they would be able to kick it into high gear. Unfortunately, they let Dallas win the game in the fourth quarter.

This week is a great NFL week. The matchups are awesome, Thanksgiving Day brings us a slew of good games and the food during today’s games is even better. Hopefully I won’t be in a food and alcohol coma by the time the Ravens and Steelers kick off. With that being said, I hope you’re as thankful as I am for family friends and football! Now…Let’s get to the picks!!

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions (-5.5)Week 13

The Lions disappointed me last week but they are playing Green Bay at home with Matt Flynn back at QB. I don’t think he’ll have the same type of game that he had against the Lions the last time he was playing for Green Bay. When Terrell Pryor beats you out at QB you have more than a few problems. The Lions defense will be able to capitalize on the rookie’s mistakes and give the Lions a healthy lead in the fourth quarter that not even they can squander. Even though the Packers defense has been playing better this season, I don’t think they’ll be able to hang with the high powered Lions offense at home, on a fast track.

Pick: Detroit Lions (-5.5)

Oakland Raiders at Dallas Cowboys (-9.5)week 13 2

Speaking of getting healthy…the Raiders will have Darren McFadden back in the lineup on Thanksgiving Day. They will lean heavily on him to control the clock and the pace of the game. Dallas will keep this game close with their mistakes on offense and lack of defense. The Cowboys will pull this one out as they did against the Giants but I don’t think that they’ll be able to cover the 9.5 point spread. This game will come down to the fourth quarter and the Cowboys will scrape by again with a 7 point win.

Pick: Oakland Raiders (+9.5)week 13 3

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens (-3.5)

Everything is telling me to pick the Steelers this week. It’s an AFC North divisional game with many playoff implications, they Ravens and Steelers are bitter rivals and the Steelers are on a hot streak. Unfortunately, for the Steelers they will probably end up losing this game but it will be a close one. The Steelers offense has looked really good over the past few weeks and they actually have a running game again. The Ravens have been way too inconsistent for me to feel comfortable giving any points. Even though the Steelers might lose this game it won’t be by more than three points.

Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5)

St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers (-7.5)week 13 4

Everyone will be picking the 49ers and giving the 7.5 points in this game after the Niners laid an ass whoopin’ on the Redskins last week. A few things stick out to me in this matchup. The Rams offense has been playing extremely well and their defense has always been pretty good. The Niners looked good last week against a terrible Redskins defense and they are working on a short week. They won’t look as dominant as they did on Monday night. The 49ers will win this game but I don’t think they can pull it off by more than a touchdown. The Niners limp through this game and squeak by the Rams.

Pick: St. Louis Rams (+7.5)
