If you’re an NFL fan or football fan in general, keep reading. If you’re a Tim Tebow fan then jump out of a window of the tallest building in your city.

I’ve made deals with myself in the past to never write about Tim Tebow again but his ignorant fans keep me coming back for more. The fact that there’s still a group of people who think that Tebow can be a quarterback in the NFL is absolutely mind-blowing to me.

In the latest Tebow fan club news, they have submitted a petition on the White House’s “We the People” website for President Obama to force Jacksonville Jaguars GM, David Caldwell, to sign Tim Tebow. Ok, stop laughing. This is actually a true story.

The petition states that “home games will be sold out, sales will spike, the team will win and the fans will be happy” if the Jags sign Tim Tebow. I would venture a guess that jersey sales would spike but they still wouldn’t sell out, the team wouldn’t win and the fans would be pissed.

David Caldwell made the right move in blocking any chance of Tebow making a pit stop in Jacksonville. He made it obvious after the season that Jacksonville has no interest in signing Tebow.

Whoever submitted this petition said that “Mr. Caldwell is ignoring lots of facts about the misunderstood Tim Tebow….” Here are a couple of the stats that this sad person cited that Mr. Caldwell was ignoring:

  • Tebow’s passer rating (125.6) in the Steelers playoff game against the Broncos. Although, a very good passer rating, someone forgot to tell this fan that it was during one game. The following week against the Patriots he completed 34.6% of his passes and his rating was a 52.7.
  • Most yards per completion (31.6) in NFL playoff history. This one is laughable because he only completed 10 passes, one of which went for 80 yards. This person is stretching here but using his/her logic, let’s take a look at the following game against the Patriots. That would be 15 yds. per completion and his season average was 13.7.
  • 100.5 QB rating is best ever for a Broncos QB in his first start. Actually Tebow’s first start earned him a 91.7 rating, which isn’t bad but isn’t 100.5

Alright, I’m getting bored with this. I can bash Tebow all day. The fact is that Tim Tebow, although one of the greatest college football players of all time, is NOT an NFL quarterback. As an NFL quarterback you should complete above 60% of your passes and Mr. Tebow has an average of 47.9% which is terrible. He has only averaged 10.3 pass attempts per game as well…that tells me that his coaches don’t trust him to throw the ball.

The Jaguars don’t need Tim Tebow. What they need is better players on defense, MJD to come back, Justin Blackmon to stop getting suspended, an offensive line and more draft picks. Tim Tebow wouldn’t solve any of those problems. In fact, he would make it worse. When Tebow comes to town, so does the circus.

These mouth-breathers that call themselves football fans need to get a life. First of all they aren’t football fans, they’re ball watching morons that think because Tebow is a good guy on camera he can all of a sudden be an NFL quarterback. Stop taking stats from one game and pumping this guy up to be the next Joe Montana. Anyone can have a good game or two, hell Rick Mirer had a good rookie season and look what happened to him. If you’re asking “who’s Rick Mirer?” my response would be, “EXACTLY!”

Stop asking the president to force the Jags to sign Tebow. Why don’t you ask him to lower gas prices or put all the rich fucks that are ruining this country in prison? I know I shouldn’t get into suggesting what this country needs but I do know it’s NOT more Tebow.
